Matt survived but with a shattered leg that took 17 operations and phenomenal grit and determination to mend.

Inspired by the physio he received; Matt retrained and graduated from Southampton University in 2014 and, after working in Lymington and Southampton Hospitals, joined BWT four years ago.
Specialising in corporate health – not just desk related problems but the ‘weekend warrior’ types too! -alongside a love of treating neurological conditions has given Matt a breadth of experience that not many physiotherapists can achieve. This is currently being enhanced with post graduate study in Diagnostic MSK Ultrasonography, where the highly specialised knowledge gained will enable an enhanced clinical diagnosis, accuracy of prognosis and treatment protocols for your condition
Matt is the complete picture and states
‘I think you can relate to the injured a lot more when you have been through a similar experience yourself.’
In his spare time he volunteers to work with wounded servicemen teaching them to scuba dive as part of their rehabilitation.
