Jennifer graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2010 and spent seven years working in the NHS in Oxfordshire, specialising in MSK physio. She went on to complete her MSc., gaining specialist accreditation with the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). During this time, Jennifer became the physiotherapist for The Oxford University Boat Club for The Boat Race, as well as working with the GB Rowing Team providing physio for their training camps across Europe.
Jennifer has a specialist interest in the lower limb, sports injuries and prevention strategies. She moved into the English Institute of Sport working with GB and England Hockey, supporting the teams to medal at both the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the Commonwealth Games 2022. She has experience working across a number of Olympic Sports and has worked with the British Olympic Association as part of Team GB’s medical team at the European Youth Olympics this summer. She will continue to work in Olympic Sport alongside her role with BWT and is looking forward to bringing her expertise to support you to achieve your goals.
Outside of work, Jennifer loves a challenge having recently led a crew to row 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean for charity, spending 40 days at sea. She has a background in competitive rowing, before she turned to long distance triathlon. Her love of the Dorset coast is what has brought her to BWT and she is looking forward to getting on the water and the coastal paths and taking up all that coastal life has to offer.
