Nicky Forster graduated from the Unoversity of Mancheter in 2001 with BSc Physiotherapy and has subsequently specialised as a Pilates instructor and is also a qualified Pink Ribbon Post-Operative Rehabilitation Instructor.
As well as specialist musculoskeletal treatments Nicky offers a Physiotherapist-led exercise pathway, specially designed for patients who have undergone treatment for breast cancer. Nicky’s expert treatment aims to help recovery and return her patients to normal function after surgery. Nicky firmly believes that exercise can help with stiffness, increases muscle strength and endurance, and can also help with cancer-related symptoms such as fatigue, swelling and low mood, easing the journey throughout your treatment.
The Pink Ribbon Programme is available with Nicky at The Ashley Cross Clinic in Parkstone is a gentle, staged pathway that can commence as early as 6 weeks post-operatively. The programme can also benefit those who are suffering with longer term side effects from surgery and radiotherapy years before. Nicky runs The Pink Ribbon Post-operative Programme either in a 1:1 or small group setting.
