How exercise can help by improving your balance and co-ordination which can help reduce falls and therefore fractures. She will also be focusing on exercises to increase your core strength and weight bearing to help maintain bone mineral density. There will also be advice on diet and aspects of lifestyle.

There are many different treatments, therapies and types of support available. This talk is essential information for those with Parkinsons and those who care for them.
Andrew Clarke, Consultant Colorectal & Laparoscopic Surgeon, will talk about pelvic disorders from the bowel perspective and how they may present from constipation to faecal incontinence to pelvic organ prolapse.
Andrew will outline how treatment pathways have developed over time towards modern practice and of the importance of non operative (conservative) therapy before surgery.
In those patients that are resistant to such treatments he will talk of how the pelvic floor is then onwardly investigated and how the results will influence and dictate surgery that is tailored to the specific patient requirement.
