Jason is an expert in all aspects of the foot and lower limb having undergone years of specialist training enabling him to diagnose, treat and assist patients to look after their feet and lower limbs.
After an in depth assessment Jason may prescribe insoles (orthotics) which are handmade custom devices specifically designed for each patient’s feet. This process involves taking a plaster of Paris impression of your feet and sending the “foot casts” to a laboratory with a prescription from Jason for manufacture. Treatment can also involve strengthening and conditioning and foot mobilisation which is combined with extensive training and foot wear advice. Occasionally patients may need to be referred to a Consultant or other Allied Health Practitioner as part of their treatment.
BWT physios understand the importance of working with excellent Podiatrists our patients benefit from a multi -disciplinary approach to recovery and rehabilitation. Podiatry forms an essential part of that approach. Jason works closely with the whole Physiotherapy team to achieve this.
