Meet Maz who, if you have ever been a member of The West Hants Club in Bournemouth, you will already know. For 20 years Maz led the S & C department with part of her role working for the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) funded junior performance programme. Maz also provided physical screening and S & C provision for Dorset County Cricket on their Emerging Players Programme. Prior experience whilst based in London, Maz delivered pitch-side first aid/rehab for Staines U21 RFC and Surrey County Rugby and worked in a gym as a fitness instructor.
Now joining BWT Physio, Maz brings a depth of knowledge and experience to ensure your recovery is fully optimised.
With a BSc Honours degree in Sport Science and, as a Graduate in Sport Rehabilitation (member of BASRaT) you will benefit from a therapist who is an autonomous healthcare practitioner specialising in musculoskeletal management, exercise based rehabilitation and fitness. In addition to this Maz is also a Strength and Conditioning Coach and is a member of the UK Strength and Conditioning Association, (UKSCA)
Working both in the community and in our newly refurbished strength and conditioning room at our Ashley Cross clinic in Parkstone, you can
- take advantage of sport specific return to performance post- injury
- bring any youth performance issues for assistance with S & C programmes with growth and maturation tracking

- for all ages and genders work on pre and post-op strengthening regimes, progressive plyometric speed and agility whilst optimising your movement patterns and biomechanics.
