The Pink Ribbon Post-operative Rehabilitation Programme
One of our Physiotherapists, Nicky Forster is a qualified Pink Ribbon Post-Operative Rehabilitation Instructor, who has undertaken specialist training in the treatment of breast cancer survivors.
The Pink Ribbon Post-operative Rehabilitation Programme at BWT Physio, is a Physiotherapist-led exercise pathway, specially designed for clients who have undergone treatment for breast cancer. It aims to help recovery and return to normal function after surgery. Exercise can help with stiffness, it increases muscle strength and endurance, and may also help with cancer-related symptoms such as fatigue, swelling and low mood, easing the journey throughout your treatment.
The Pink Ribbon Programme is a gentle, staged pathway that can commence as early as 6 weeks post-operatively. The programme can also benefit those who are suffering with longer term side effects from surgery and radiotherapy years before. The Pink Ribbon Post-operative Programme can be carried out 1:1 or in a small group setting.
Please give us a call on 01202 749514 at BWT Physio to see how we can help you or a family member their through your journey.
