Paul HH has just returned from a successful training camp in Texas…

Paul reports………

The main purpose was to simulate the Olympic format for climbing in prep for qualification in Japan this August. I was part of a team consisting of two athletes on the performance programme, a performance coach, manager, media team (two people!) and a sports psychologist.

I had a lot of data to collect around sports fitness and injuries and was busy most of the time over the 8 days. It was a really good experience in terms of preparing the athletes for the conditions of the games and helping the support staff identify opportunities to be most effective.

BWT are pleased to announce a new class being held at The West Hants Club on a Friday from 2pm - 3pm.
