Pilates Classes

What is Pilates?

Pilates is an invigorating form of exercise for your mind and body that can improve your strength, flexibility and overall mobility. It helps restore your body to balance. As a result, your posture will change and you will move more efficiently. You'll achieve a strong core, develop longer, leaner muscles and improve your overall sense of well-being. And, if you are a sports enthusiast, Pilates can help improve your game.
Pilates is a safe and effective exercise method that will enable you to look - and feel - your very best. Best of all, because it gives you such a wonderful sense of well-being, you'll want to do Pilates for the rest of your life.

What is involved?

Pilates classes are taken by either our pilates instructor or for more injury specific instruction a qualified chartered physiotherapist trained in clinical pilates.

For Pilates with a Physiotherapist

A one to one assessment consultation, followed by a series of 6 progressive exercise classes to re-educate your posture and decrease your pain with exercises tailored to your specific injury or condition.

Classes with a pilates instructor

Learn practical exercises you can incorporate into your daily routine to decrease your back pain and increase your well being.

 

Beginner, intermediate and advanced classes are available. These run at a number of different times and dates to suit.
