I wanted to drop you and the BWT team a note to say a big thank you for the work you have all put into my physio and what a great team you have. You all understood my goals, assessed my ailments so well and applied your skills specific to my sports to get me progressively back in shape.

18 months ago I had thought, at the point of my arthroscopy that I was going to have to give up kayaking, which after 27 years of enjoyment was a bit miserable. This Easter I took on the challenge to complete the 125 mile Devises to Westminster (DW) non-stop kayak marathon in a double (K2) kayak. The good news is in the run up “Waterside Series” we placed 4th veteran crew over the 4 marathons. Sadly, the DW didn’t end in a finish with my kayak partners shoulder/back injuries re-occurring and a lack of physio on his part (oh the irony)! However, I still covered 80 miles and 17 hours non-stop kayaking on the coldest Easter on record, with no issues during or post the event and now feel better than ever. I couldn’t have done that without your teams rehab and support.
