Debbie trained at Guys Hospital London 1978 - 1981 where she was awarded The Mactier Memmorial prize for Student of the Year, graduated with distinction as Debbie Todd and had the honour of being invited to join the staff.

 
After gaining 6 years experience in orthopaedics, rheumatology and out patients in the NHS in London, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals Debbie formed the Burrows, Whike and Todd partnership in 1987 specialising in musculoskeletal conditions. Debbie continued to specialise leading to post graduate qualifications in acupuncture, manipulation, sports injuries, rehabilititaion and mobilising techniques.

Through her career Debbie has gained extensive experience in specific areas of clinical interest including whiplash syndrome, neck pain, headache, jaw problems and pain conditions such as fibromyalgia and myofacial pain syndrome, whilst also continuing with  a broad caseload at a corporate contract in large multinational bank. Debbie is also trained in medico - legal issues and has recently been asked to submit a paper for publication regarding the use of acupuncture in combination with manual therapy for pain relief. At present Debbie combines the management of the practice with her partners with a clinical workload  spread between the central clinic at Parkstone and a large multinational banking corporation.
