Paul Gould

paul-gould

Chartered Physiotherapist

Paul has completed degrees in both Sports Science and Physiotherapy prior to his registration as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2002.
Starting his career at Poole General Hospital, he completed all core clinical areas of Physiotherapy prior to specialising in Musculosketetal conditions as a Senior Physiotherapist in the NHS, working also in Accident & Emergency and privately in a Sports Injury clinic.

Paul then moved into private practice, spending time working in New Zealand with both Olympic, professional and recreational Skiers and Snowboarders. Returning to the UK, he continued his work with elite sports working with the English Institute of Sport (EIS), Talented Athletes Scholarship Scheme (TASS), semi-professional football and Hampshire County Cricket.

Paul joined BWT in April 2008 where his time is split between working in the BWT clinic and The Royal Marines. Paul continues to work with TASS and was involved with the British Disabled Ski Team, GB Paralympic Ski Team and GB World University Games. While Paul enjoys the variety of general practice, he hopes to add to the Sports Medicine side of BWT with a very hands-on approach to treatment, complimented by a wealth of experience in exercise based assessment and rehabilitation.
