Chartered Physiotherapist |
|
|
Andy completed a degree in Health Science prior to returning to education and gaining a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from Bournemouth University. As part of the first cohort of students learning this profession at Bournemouth, Andy gained a wide range of experience in all of the core clinical areas of physiotherapy. Joining the team at BWT in September 2008, Andy’s clinical time is spent working with patients with musculo-skeletal and / or neurological conditions. His varied caseload is split largely between running several NHS clinics, taking classes for Parkinson’s Disease and Osteoporosis management and out on the road visiting patients as a group in the community setting, or individually in their own homes and nursing / residential environments. Andy also keeps his skills in post operative orthopaedic rehabilitation honed by working as a physiotherapist on the ward at one of Bournemouth’s hospitals on occasional weekends. Andy enjoys the variety of his work as a Chartered Physiotherapist and strives to consider each patient’s individual needs and goals when working to manage their condition. |
